A point of sale and inventory system for businesses that hold stock and sell across more than one location.
Solnay is three things that usually come from three different suppliers: a register that runs the counter in every branch, a stock system that keeps counts and transfers in step across the chain, and Solnay Hub, an owner’s view over all of it.
The design starts from a specific assumption: the shop has to keep trading when the connection does not. Scanning, pricing, totalling and completing a cash sale are arithmetic over data the device can hold, so they run on the device. The network is for sharing what happened, not for permitting it. Pharmacies, retail stores, supermarkets, warehouses and medical suppliers: businesses that hold stock, count it, move it between locations, and need to know which employee sold what. One branch works, but every decision assumes a second one is coming.
The interface ships in English and Arabic from the first release, with the whole layout mirrored right to left rather than translated in place. That is a product decision, not a localisation afterthought.
Pre-launch. Pilot branches go on the register before a public release. There is no customer count, rating or revenue figure anywhere on this site because there is not an honest one to publish yet, and we would rather say so than invent one.
