This policy covers www.solnay.com, the marketing website. It does not cover the Solnay application itself, which is governed by the agreement with each business that uses it.

Solnay operates this website and decides how the limited personal data described below is handled. In the language of the UK and EU GDPR, we are the controller.
Our registered company details are being finalised and will be published here as soon as they are. In the meantime, every request under this policy reaches us at hello@solnay.com, and we answer within 30 days.
Very little, by design. There is no signup form, no newsletter, no account, and no advertising on this website.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies and does not store an identifier on your device. It records the page you visited, the referring site, and coarse technical facts such as country, browser and device type, and it derives a one-way hash for each visit that is discarded daily rather than kept as a profile. We see aggregate numbers. We cannot use it to identify you, and we do not attempt to.
Because it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, no consent banner is shown. Our legal basis is legitimate interest: understanding which pages are read so we can improve them.
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web host, Vercel processes the technical information every request carries, including your IP address, in order to serve the page and to protect the service from abuse. These logs are short-lived and we do not use them for analytics.
Typefaces are served from this domain, not from a third-party font service, so loading a page on this site does not tell anyone else that you did. There are no embedded videos, no social widgets, no tracking pixels and no third-party advertising or marketing tags.
The links on this site open your own email client. If you write to us we will hold your address and whatever you tell us for as long as the conversation is live and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we can pick it back up if you return. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell, rent or share it. Our legal basis is legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you initiated, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
This website sets no cookies of its own and no third-party cookies.
Our hosting and analytics provider is based in the United States and may process data outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with the provider’s own supplementary measures.
If UK or EU data protection law applies to you, you have the right to ask us for a copy of any personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on legitimate interest, you can object at any time.
Write to hello@solnay.com and we will answer within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
This is a website about business software. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data about them.
If this policy changes in substance we will update the date at the top of this page. The date reflects the last change to the text, not the last deployment of the site.
