Solnay for pharmacies

A pharmacy register that knows what expires, and what needs a prescription

Batch and expiry on every lot, prescriptions recorded before the sale completes, and stock you can borrow from the branch down the road. The counter keeps working when the connection does not.

Expired stock found on the shelf, or written off at the year-end count.

Receive each lot with its batch and expiry. Sales take the earliest expiry first, and the owner is alerted to lots about to expire while there is still time to move them.

A prescription-only item sold with nothing on file.

Mark the product as prescription-required and the sale will not complete without a prescription reference, the doctor's name and the date. The check runs on the register, so it holds offline too, and the server rejects any sale that slips past it.

The patient needs it today and this branch is out.

See the count in every branch from the register, request it from the one that has it, and the units are reserved the moment that branch approves. Batch and expiry travel with the transfer.

The internet drops in the middle of the evening rush.

Scanning, totals and completing a sale run on the device. Sales queue and upload when the line comes back. Nothing is lost and nobody waits.

Nobody knows which shift the cash went missing on.

Every sale carries the pharmacist or assistant who made it and the register it was made on. Each drawer is counted per shift, and the difference is on the owner's screen.

Staff discounting too freely.

The owner sets a discount ceiling per role and can cap individual products. Refunds over a cashier's limit need a manager's approval.

Worth knowing

What is not there yet

  • No insurance claims or e-prescription integration. Prescriptions are recorded on the sale, not exchanged with a payer.
  • No patient profiles yet. A free-text reference can be kept on the sale.
  • No VAT or national e-invoicing in the first release.

FAQ

Pharmacies: common questions

Yes. Both are turned on per product, recorded when a delivery is received, and carried through sales, returns and transfers. Sales take the earliest expiry first unless a specific batch is chosen.

A product marked prescription-required cannot be sold without a prescription reference, the prescribing doctor and the date. The rule is enforced on the register, so it holds offline, and again on the server, which rejects any sale that arrives without it.

Yes, on the Multi-branch and Chain plans. One branch requests, the other approves, and the approved units are reserved so they cannot be sold or promised elsewhere while they are on the road.
